INGREDIENTS:

  • Ground beef (about 3/4 lb)
  • Sour cream (about 3/4 cup)
  • Guacamole (about 1 cup; homemade or store bought)
  • Diced tomatoes (about 3/4 cup)
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (about 1 1/4 cup)
  • Sliced green onions (about 1/3 cup)
  • Sliced olives (about 1 ounce or 2 tablespoons)
  • Approximately 1 ounce (1 package) taco seasoning, divided

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning, divided
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 3/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 ounce sliced olives (about 2 tablespoons)

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of the taco seasoning with the sour cream. Set aside.
  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Add the remaining taco seasoning and 1/4 cup water; cook until the liquid has reduced. Remove from heat and cool completely.
  • In an 8×8 glass dish (or similar serving dish), layer the ingredients in this order: cooked beef, seasoned sour cream, guacamole, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar, sliced green onions, and sliced olives. Chill briefly if desired, then serve with pork rinds, protein chips, celery, or your preferred dippers.
