Ingredients:
1 (11-ounce) package refrigerated French bread dough
6 ounces thinly sliced deli ham
6 green onions, sliced (optional)
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 1/2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
2–4 tablespoons ranch dressing (optional)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet and unroll the French bread dough onto it. Arrange the ham over the dough, leaving a 1/4 to 1/2 inch border around the edges. If using, spread the ranch dressing evenly over the ham. Sprinkle the sliced green onions, crumbled bacon, and shredded Swiss cheese over the top.
Starting along the long side, roll the dough up jelly-roll style, enclosing the filling. Pinch the seams to seal and tuck the ends underneath to secure the roll. Place the roll seam-side down on the baking sheet and cut several shallow slits across the top (about 1/4 inch deep) to allow steam to escape.
Bake for 26–30 minutes or until the roll is puffed and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing to retain the filling and make cutting easier.
