- Mixing bowl
- Tablespoon and teaspoon
Ingredients
You’ll only need three ingredients plus a pinch of salt to make these peri peri spiced wedges.

- 4 large potatoes – King Edward, Maris Piper or Desiree work well.

- 2 tsp peri peri seasoning – use less if you don’t like it too spicy; a shop-bought mix is fine or use a homemade blend.

How to Make Peri Peri Air Fryer Wedges
These spicy potato wedges are simple to prepare and taste fantastic.
Step 1 – Slice the potatoes
- Peel the potatoes if you prefer, then halve them lengthways. Cut each half into 4–6 wedges depending on size.
- Place the wedges in a mixing bowl to season.

Step 2 – Season the wedges
- Pour the olive oil over the wedges, sprinkle on the peri peri seasoning and add a pinch of salt.
- Toss with your hands to coat each wedge evenly in oil and seasoning.

Step 3 – Cook the wedges
- Arrange the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 160°C (air fryer setting) for 20 minutes to soften the centres, shaking the basket every 6–8 minutes for even cooking.
- After 20 minutes, shake the wedges again and increase the temperature to 200°C. Cook for a further 15–20 minutes or until the edges are golden and crisp and the centres are tender.

Step 4 – Serve
- Transfer the wedges to a serving platter or bowl and serve alongside your favourite main. They’re delicious with dips, salads or grilled mains.
