Keto Cast Iron Skillet Cheese Pizza

This recipe is incredibly easy and fast. With just a few core ingredients and optional seasonings or toppings, you can have a satisfying, low-carb pizza ready in under 30 minutes.

It’s versatile: keep it plain to stay Egg Fast compliant, or add pepperoni, herbs, and low-carb vegetables for a regular keto-friendly pizza.

What you will need to make the Keto Skillet Cheese Pizza

  • Eggs
  • Shredded cheese (mozzarella works well)
  • Mayonnaise
  • Italian seasoning
  • Other toppings (optional)
  • A cast iron pan. A two-handled pan is ideal for moving it in and out of the oven.

The recipe yields four generous slices. For the Egg Fast, each slice equals 1 egg, 1 tablespoon of fat, and 1 ounce of cheese.

A crust-free, nut-free cheese pizza that comes together quickly. Egg Fast compatible if made as directed. For standard keto, add pepperoni, low-carb veggies, or extra cheese as desired.

Ingredients

Pizza Base

  • 2 oz (1/2 cup) mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder and 1 tsp onion powder
  • Pinch of salt, to taste

Topping

  • 2 oz shredded cheese (any kind)
  • Additional Italian seasoning, as desired
  • A drizzle of hot sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease or spray a cast iron pan lightly so the pizza won’t stick.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the shredded cheese, eggs, mayonnaise, and seasonings until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared cast iron pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the top with the extra shredded cheese and a bit more Italian seasoning. Add any optional toppings now.
  6. Optional: drizzle a small amount of hot sauce over the top for extra flavor.
  7. Bake for about 15 minutes, or until the pizza is puffed and lightly browned on top.
  8. Remove from the oven, cut into four slices, and serve warm.

Notes

Egg Fast portioning: If following the Egg Fast, one quarter of this pizza equals 1 egg, 1 tablespoon fat, and 1 ounce cheese.
