Five days until Easter — are you ready? I made a last-minute run to Target yesterday to pick up basket goodies, and apparently half of Orange County had the same idea. It was packed!
These colorful Easter Oreos are a simple, eye-catching addition to any holiday table. The idea sounded cute at first, but I ended up loving them even more than I expected.
I wanted to share a quick, easy Easter treat you can make in about 10 minutes. Get the kids involved — they’ll enjoy dipping and sprinkling these festive cookies.
Below you’ll find how effortless they are to assemble. Package a few in a cellophane bag with a bow and they become sweet teacher or neighbor gifts.
Have fun! xoxo
Grab a bag of Wilton candy melts, some Oreos and a few food coloring pastes and you’re set.
Dip, sprinkle and let dry.
White Fudge Dipped Easter Oreos
Ingredients:
- Bag of Oreo cookies
- Bag of Wilton white candy melts (or another brand of white melting candy)
- Food decorating paste or gel food coloring (red, yellow, blue, green)
- White nonpareil sprinkles
Directions:
- Open the package and set half the Oreos on a plate so they’re ready to dip.
- Melt the white candy melts following the package directions until smooth. Divide the melted candy into four small bowls.
- Add a tiny bit of food paste or gel to each bowl to create pastel colors — start with very small amounts and stir well until you reach the shade you want.
- Dip the top side of each Oreo into the colored candy. Use a small spoon to help spread the coating evenly if needed.
- While the coating is still wet, sprinkle with nonpareils. Place the cookies on foil, parchment or wax paper to set and dry.
- Repeat until you’ve coated all the Oreos or used up the candy melts. Serve at room temperature or chilled. Enjoy!

A few photos from the Easter party we hosted at our church last Saturday — we had an egg drop with the fire department, games and an egg hunt. It was a wonderful day.
Question: When do you tell children the truth about the Easter Bunny? My oldest is almost eight and I’m wondering how much longer the magic will last. I’d love to hear your stories.
Have a great day — come back soon for giveaways!
